OOPS! KAU`I HITS A HIGH NOTE :-)

OUR KAU`I

Kau`i took surf lessons today and couldn't thank Dad enough for taking her to the beach. Our church "Tweens" met this morning for Bible studies, surf lessons, then a BBQ. Kau`i had a fantastic time. She is such a great athlete and got up surfing in no time at all.

KAU`I AND DAD TIME

Our children LOVE the water. Kau`i was very excited when she got dad all to herself at sunset!

REMEMBER QUINCY?

Thought we would have him at 10 months. Long story short, and after a year of going through a series of rabies shots, quarantine, etc., he will be home tomorrow at 16 months of age. We love standard poodles and have a 13 1/2 year old waiting to meet his pal.

WHERE'S ZOEY?

Our daughter-in-law Marie is due to have her baby the first week of January. She enjoys being pregnant and look forward to motherhood.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAU`I & MOM

What a beautiful girl our Lord has blessed us with. Her day finally came. Kau`i could not wait. "My first Birthday!" she said. A friend from school is also celebrating a birthday today. Kau`i (age 11) and her friends will take a limo ride around the island and end up with dinner at Mateos. We will have a family birthday for her tomorrow. Pictured is Kau`i with the "cross" necklace she dreamed of(it seems like forever) and a "aloha" doll she will call Rose. This doll a replica of the one Kau`i gave her friend Kennedy before she left the orphanage. More to come tomorrow.

Girls are on Fall Break and go back to school next week Tuesday. We went to visit Nana and took her for a ride at the famous Komoda Bakery. Love that place!

MAUI COUNTY FAIR

Girls had so much fun at the annual Maui County Fair. Kau`i is such a dare devil and will ride the most thrill seeker ride there is. She has NO fear. Dad said he finally found a partner who will go on rides that will go straight up in the air, upside down, backwards, fast-as-you-can rides, etc. and say "I love it! Please let's do it again?!?!" No pictures of those rides because they made us stand in line for other thrill rides for them. :) Maile and Makena will soon be able (height wise) to follow suit. Kau`i enjoyed taking one of her best friend Maile to the fair with her.

FINALLY PAYING OFF :)

The girls said "you and dad relax and we will do the dishes."

RAINBOW DAY

Kamalii Elementary School has seven kindergarten classes! Today ends the first quarter of the school year. On "Rainbow Day" the children sang for parents and grandparents, we all did arts and crafts, talked and had refreshments. Sophie, pictured with Makena, is her best friend in Kindergarten.
