LAST DAY FUN

Our girls are beat and not at all ready to go home. Next year they said: "We want to stay here 100 days!" Okay, I have to agree with that. Great day of checking out vintage cars and propped airplanes and going up to Lava Butte.

TRIPLE JACK POT

Went fishing today at Lava Lake with our very dear friend Ray. Didn't catch anything this time but had fun riding in his boaT, soaked up the beautiful scenery and thanked God for blessing us with our beautiful girls.

CANOEING DOWN THE DESCHUTES RIVER

We couldn't have picked a better day to paddle 6 miles down the Deschutes River. Girls took turn floating on the inner tube sometimes falling into the cold water. Good thing they are good swimmers. A sure thing to do again next year.

SUNRIVER

Today we biked to the Sunriver Nature Center for a nature hike learning about the birds and other creatures living in Central Oregon and other areas. After we watched with great interest a young girl feeding an injured bird a raw mouse for lunch! Needless to say I didn't feel sorry the little black thing.

The girls are having fun doing arts and craft and playing tennis.

SEWING

Altogether made five backpacks for all the women in the family. We are blessed with a child who strives to do her best and will never give up. Heading for Sunriver tomorrow. Hooray!
