HALLOWEEN

Ry definitely took this day seriously.
Kind of funny story because it just poured down rain for about two hours (check the background). In Hawaii if it rains on Halloween, children go trick or treating the next day. Well I called my mom who lives Upcountry and she said "It's not raining here!" So the girls said they will save their outfits for next year. But the rain moved on into the Pacific Ocean and the rest is history.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAU`I

Priceless!!

Definitely daddy's girl!!

Tomorrow, October 16, Kau'i will be 12 years old. What can I say about her? Well! she is no doubt a gift from God. How could Dale and I ever imagine our then 10-year-old daughter who we brought home from China on January 1, 2010, a girl who did not know a word of English, become an "A" speller as well as an "A" Bible verse student in her class! Asked one of her teachers last week, Mrs. K said "Kaui is a perfectionist."

Aside from Kaui doing well in school, she is wonderful daughter who loves the Lord.

I-800 APPROVAL TODAY

Oh happy day! Next steps are: National Visa Center cabled (nine days), Article 5 (20 days), China issues travel approval (18) and, lastly, Consulate Appointment.

We are possibly looking at the third week of November to actually getting the travel approval and possibly travelling the first week of December. We'll just have to wait and see though.

And on the home front... we are BUSY! and making good progress with the girls' schooling. What a big difference going from public school teaching to Christian-base education.

On the way home from the doctors Makena mentioned in conversation with dad how she would not want to go back to public school because they don't talk about Jesus and there is no time to pray.
