KAU`I OUR SELF LEARNER
Kau`i has been with us for almost two months. We learned many things about our daughter. Mainly she is determined to succeed. No matter what Kau`i does, she is not satisfied until she does it right. Today, she accomplished learning how to swim just by watching others swim. She asked how Maile and Makena learned and we said they started with life jackets, etc. Well she tried the life jacket and said it hurts under her arms so she took it off. Kau`i kept watching her sisters and dad swim and finally she did it... full arm extension, feet kicking and so forth. That's our girl!

Kau`i lost a baby tooth last night. Woke up this morning happy as ever because the tooth fairy left her a quarter.
