We all love to visit my mom. The girls and Ryland cannot get enough of her. My mom had three birds living in separate cages and now there are only two. My grandson Ryland said "Granny what happened to Lonely?" Granny said "She went to be with her bird friend. Lonely misses him very much." Ryland didn't get it :-) !! Such innocence.

FIRST SIGNS OF WINTER BREAK

School is out on Friday (party day). The younger girls made Christmas cookies for school. They chose Gingerbread cookies. It was yummy! Tomorrow the two older girls have tests in Science, Math, History, Spelling and Bible. They are downstairs studying very hard. What a big load to carry for their last work day of school. They will do it though. Both are high achievers. They had high grades this last quarter and made the Honor Roll. We are proud of them. After Friday, we celebrate and chill out for 2 1/2 week!

COUSIN RYAN'S VISIT

Oh my! Tonight was the last night of Ryan's visit to Maui and I haven't taken any pictures to document the wonderful and busy week we spent with him. Everyone enjoyed his company and the girls love him to pieces! He had no trouble keeping up with our active girls swimming, playing tennis, eating dinners and helping with homework. Aloha Ryan!!
