OUR MAILE

Maile has been taking piano lessons and (I'm bragging here) she is doing excellent. Her teacher cannot believe how fast Maile is learning. The best part of it is she enjoys her lessons and her teacher. Dale and I are amazed how fast Maile is learning the keys and the difference between the timing of quarter note, half note, and so forth. That's our girl!

FIRE EXTREMELY CLOSE TO OUR HOME

It's been about four hours since the brush fire started very close to our home. Helicopters are using swimming pools at nearby homes to help put it out. The fire and smoke is still going strong. Over 150 acres burned and seven homes in Maui Meadows had to be evacuated.

Our girls love water. By the end of the day their feet looks like ... shriveled, wrinkled, pale and so forth. You get the picture. We love Kapalua because Kapalua to me equals Fun and Play. It's also nice to see my husband Dale finally relax! He's been working so hard.
