LOUD

Band is taken seriously at Doris Todd Christian Academy. Every student from the sixth grade and on take band class. Kau`i and Kailani choose to play saxaphone (so far). As you well know it's loud and we'll have to make this a weekend practice session for now!

Last night was "Meet the Teacher" night at school. In the sixth grade class, parents were instructed on how homework should be turned in for math. Dale was one proud father because the teacher held up Kailani's homework papers and said "This is an example of how I want your children to turn in their work." That's our girl!

I bet they will do great, especially with the piano background.
I played saxaphone, for a few weeks, until I realized how big it was to carry on the bus, so I switched to flute;)

Good to hear that school is going good for them and that they pick up on the saxophone good. I can only image it is loud for you.
