I cannot think of a time our girls sat and did "nothing." Just now Kau`i came up to me and said "Mom, can I have foil? I want to make shoes!" I said "No. Give it a break. "Dinner is almost ready and Kau`i is thinking of making Barbie shoes. I believe she is going to be clothes designer.

The above creation on all the Barbies were made by Kailani and Kau`i either while driving to and from town or at home. Such talent!

Kailani has been on Maui since December 8. She is wonderful, gifted, and a true blessing from our Lord Jesus Christ. At first Kailani didn't want anything to do with Barbies. I found out later Kailani said "Chinese Barbies are empty inside." Meaning they are cheaply made. Now Kailani, along with all our other girls, are either cutting, sewing, crocheting or knitting endless amount of little clothes.

Very funny scene. They were all hiding under the covers. We thought there were only two munchins, but lo and behold... all four. We love them all.

BONE X-RAY

Here we go again! We got a call from Kailani's pediatrian a couple of days ago with the results of her blood work and other personal tests that she took. Happy to say Kailani is healthy.

After the results of the test, doctor said "Angie I think we should do an x-ray on Kailani's hand to see approximately how old she is. Based on her physical last week, I don't think she will be 13 in three weeks." Doctor said "I know if she was my daughter I would want to know."

Okay, so yesterday she had the bone skeletal test and doctor called and said Kailani is between 11-12 years old. Not 13! That's a relief to get all the details in the test and Kailani agrees that February 25, 1999 is "my fake age."

Doctor will write letter to backup the results and now the hard part begins... official paperwork.
